Reports from the United States indicate that Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, plans to separate. This news comes just days after a controversial red carpet moment where Censori appeared nearly nude.
According to TMZ, both West and Censori have consulted lawyers regarding a divorce. Meanwhile, the Daily Mail claims that the 30-year-old architect has agreed to a $5 million settlement.
Their breakup follows weeks of public controversy. At the Grammy Awards, Censori walked the red carpet without clothing, drawing widespread attention. The stunt led to concerns that West, now known as Ye, was pressuring his wife, who has often been seen wearing revealing outfits during their two-year marriage.
Shortly after, West took to X (formerly Twitter) and went on a multi-day rant. In one of his posts, he referred to himself as a “Nazi” and claimed he had “dominion over” his wife. He insisted that while he didn’t force her into anything, she wouldn’t have done it without his approval. His account went inactive by the end of the week, though it is unclear whether it was removed by X or deactivated voluntarily.
Adding to the controversy, West’s Yeezy.com website was shut down this week after it began selling T-shirts featuring a swastika. Shopify, the e-commerce platform hosting the store, removed it, stating that it violated their policies. Currently, the website displays only a handwritten message reading, “Yeezy stores coming soon.”
According to The New York Post, this incident was the breaking point for Censori. A source told the outlet that she could no longer tolerate the situation. “She’s had enough,” the source stated. “The swastika shirt was the last straw. She told him that’s not who she is and that she can’t be associated with that.”
