Accusations Online
Steve Smith Sr., a former NFL wide receiver and now an NFL Network analyst, became the center of attention on social media. The five-time Pro Bowler, who played the last three years of his 16-season NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens, has maintained a strong relationship with the team. Recently, he even spent time with the Ravens Marching Band, learning their routines and taking part in game-day activities.
Surprisingly, on Saturday, a man with ties to the Ravens Marching Band accused Smith of having an affair with his wife. This claim quickly gained attention online.
Social Media Eruption
Early Saturday morning, a user on X (formerly Twitter) named Tony Martinez (@Lambeaughini) accused Smith of being involved with his wife. He made the claim in response to a video post from Smith’s account.
Shortly after, another post tagged Smith, the Baltimore Ravens, the Carolina Panthers, and multiple news organizations. The post included what appeared to be screenshots of text messages between Smith and the accuser’s wife.
Alleged Phone Call and More Screenshots
Over the next few hours, the accuser continued sharing posts, hoping to catch the attention of news outlets and NFL-related accounts. Eventually, a video surfaced, allegedly recording a phone call between Smith and the accuser.

In the video, the man confronts Smith, who is reportedly heard saying, “I’m sorry.” The conversation lasts for about 90 seconds before the call ends.
The account later shared more screenshots of what seemed to be text exchanges between Smith and the woman. One of the images even showed Smith standing in front of a mirror, though a cartoon unicorn was used to censor part of his body.
Facebook Post Adds Fuel to the Fire
At some point during the day, a Facebook account believed to belong to the woman involved also posted screenshots of messages exchanged with Smith. According to this post, their alleged encounter took place at the Ravens’ training facility.
No Response from Smith
Smith has been married to his wife, Angie, since 2000, and they share four children. So far, he has not addressed the allegations.
